Onshore oil output was 6.35 million barrels, near the 2024 level and in line with the six\u2011million\u2011barrel target, supported by operational and technological improvements. The refinery produced 3.15 million barrels of diesel and gasoline, and Staatsolie began first commercial production of sulfuric acid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company reported that SPCS generated 1.46 million MWh, supplying about 69 percent of electricity demand in Paramaribo and nearby districts, while gold revenues helped offset lower oil prices. Offshore, the GranMorgu development in Block 58 advanced on schedule, with first oil still expected in 2028 and the FPSO about halfway built, and the Sloanea\u20111 gas find in Block 52 was declared commercial, with a final investment decision targeted for 2026.
