Georgetown, Guyana \u2013 Energy Guyana Magazine launched its special edition titled \u201cWomen in Oil and Gas\u2014Balancing the Scales\u201d on International Women\u2019s Day, Sunday, March 8, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its inception in late 2020, Energy has chronicled the rise of Guyana\u2019s oil and gas industry. <\/p>\n\n\n

The new edition highlights the careers of outstanding women featured by Energy over the past five years, alongside new voices now making their mark in technical, managerial, and entrepreneurial roles. Their stories show how Guyanese women are shaping the future of the oil and gas industry and its many spin-offs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This special issue also captures a powerful shift: an industry once perceived as male-dominated is increasingly a space where women are claiming leadership positions and redefining norms. Their accomplishments demonstrate that gender is no barrier to acquiring in-demand skills, competing at the highest levels, and driving progress in Guyana\u2019s most dynamic sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
