Why Investors Are Choosing Guyana

Investors looking to expand into new markets increasingly view Guyana as a prime destination for business opportunities and long-term growth potential.

This assessment comes from two very different investors: Xavier Cys of UAL America, a Houston-based shipping company with decades of experience serving West Africa, and Beatrice Mensah Tayui, Chief Executive Officer of Cybele Energy, the first African-owned company to secure offshore acreage in Guyana.

UAL has spent roughly five decades providing shipping services between the United States and West Africa, serving many of the same international energy companies that now operate offshore Guyana.

“All of our customers that we serve in Africa, talking about ExxonMobil, Halliburton, Schlumberger, all of the drilling companies, SBM [Offshore], all of those are also in Guyana,” he explained. Click here to read more.
